Post 31: Unclassed Choropleth Map

This type of map is more like a Continuously Variable Proportional Circle Map in that it has no standardization involved within it. Instead, the darker an area is, the larger the statistical value being represented. This is less popular than classed choropleth maps, as it is harder to display what the map maker is trying to get across. The above example is from a computer program ad showing European life expectancies in 2005.
