Post 39: Scatterplot

This is a rather common type of graph that has been hammered into our minds throughout or educational careers. Cartesian coordinates, commonly known by most people as X versus Y, are mapped out on a plane, and then linked together. This is most often used in scientific procedures to show how Variable X affects Variable Y, or vice versa. The example that I found is a scatterplot comparing the ages of wives to that of their husbands.
